payment. I’d be happy to help you with this.
 
You can record =
a refund for all transaction types, including online card, Cash, Check, =
or External card. To record these refunds:
 
Navigate =
to the client=E2=80=99s =
Billing tabUse the Transact=
ions by client filter to locate =
the paymentClick View =


 
Click Refund on the top right =
of the Payment =
details pageEnter the Refund AmountPlease note that it isn=E2=80=99t possible to enter a refund =
amount that=E2=80=99s larger than any individual =
transaction 

 
Click RefundClick Confirm RefundFor online card transactions, this will refund the client=E2=80=99s =
card within 5-10 days 
Refunds will be =
recorded as adjustments under the Billing tab. For more =
information, see Refunding a =
client.
 
 
Once you have =
refunded the client payment for $100, the =
invoice where this payment was allocated in, will become unpaid. After =
doing this you can then allocate the current invoiced credit to the =
newly unpaid invoice. To do this:
 
Open the =
dropdown next to Add Payment in the client =
billing summaryClick Allocate =
credit 

 
This will automatically =
check the option to Apply available =
credit 

 
Check that =
the invoice you=E2=80=99d like to apply the credit =
to is selectedClick Allocate =
credit 
With this, you will refund a client =
payment and allocate the fee adjustment credit to the unpaid invoice to =
mark it as paid again. After this, the balance will be $0.
